Pocket

Voice Print

Train Pocket to recognize your specific voice

Voice Print is a personalized AI feature that allows Pocket to distinguish your voice from others in a conversation. Once trained, your name will be automatically tagged in transcripts, making summaries and action items even clearer.

Training Your Voice

Setting up your Voice Print takes less than a minute. Pocket will ask you to read a few short sentences to capture the unique characteristics of your voice.

  1. Open Settings: Go to the Profile tab and select Voice Print.
  2. Follow Prompts: Read the text displayed on the screen clearly and at a normal volume.
  3. Completion: Once the AI has processed your voice, the "User Recognition" feature will be active for all future recordings.

Benefits

  • Automatic Tagging: Instead of seeing "Speaker 1," you'll see your own name (or "You") in every transcript where you speak.
  • Clearer Summaries: AI can better attribute decisions and action items to the correct person.
  • Improved Search: You can use "Ask Pocket" to find things you specifically said during a meeting.

Management and Privacy

  • Recalibration: If you find that recognition accuracy has decreased (e.g., if you're using a different microphone or your voice has changed), you can Regenerate Voice Print at any time in the settings.
  • Security: Your Voice Print is encrypted and used solely for speaker identification within your own account. It is never shared or used to identify you in other contexts.

For the best results, perform the initial training in a quiet environment using the same device (Pocket or your phone) you plan to record with most often.
